The possibilities which can be applied in the context of facial aesthetics are evaluated in accordance with the needs and desires of the person. If the problem is a general disorder of skin structure (for example maculation or acne scar, etc.), skin care applications such as peeling, PRP, dermaroller or mesotherapy can be done. If wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyebrows and around the eyes cause distress, botulinum toxin can be applied. If there are deep wrinkles or lines in any area of the face (lip edges or between the eyebrows, etc.) fillers can be applied. Depending on the needs and wishes of the person, their own fat can also be used as the filling agent. If there is sagging in the upper eyelid, the best result is achieved by performing the operation for the upper eyelid. Mesotherapy for the lower eyelid is also a beneficial method that can be tried before the operation. If there is sagging of the lower eyelid and cheeks which we call middle face, middle face lift can be applied. To enhance facial fullness, dermal filler agents or oil injection are recommended. Face lift surgery can be combined with operations such as neck lifting, eyebrow lifting, eyelid and filler applications. If there are hair loss problems, hair mesotherapy can be applied. Hair transplantation can also be done. All benign and malignant masses on the face and neck can be removed.

Face lift surgery is the removal of wrinkles and sagging of the skin in order to make the face look younger. Along with aging, the sun and gravity, which we have been exposed to for years, cause wrinkling of the skin, and sagging of the skin as well as the subcutaneous tissues. Face lift surgery is the operation of removing these sagging and wrinkled tissues and hanging them in appropriate places. Surgical scars start from the temporal region, pass in front of the ear, continue behind the ear and into the scalp. Surgical scars are tried to be hidden inside the natural facial lines. Face lift surgery can be performed alone or can be combined with other operations such as eyelid surgery, neck lifting, eyebrow lifting. Filler or laser treatments can be performed in the same session. The operation is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes 3-5 hours. A drain will be placed on the surgical site and bandage will be applied. There will be some bruising and swelling after the operation. The patient stays in the hospital that night; drains are removed the next day and the dressing is changed. Seams are removed in 5-7 days. The patient should refrain from exercise and heavy lifting for 2 weeks and should be protected from the sun for 6 months. 10 days after the operation, the patient can return to work.

Forehead Stretching surgeries are usually performed in the same session with face lift operations. It can also be performed singularly in patients with intense wrinkles on the forehead. It can be done under general anesthesia or just sedation. The incisions on the scalp line separate the forehead skin and muscle adhesions. After removing excess skin parts, they are closed with stitches. Swelling and bruises may occur in the first few days after the operation. There may be numbness in areas with surgical scars after the operation. It usually heals over time. Since the scars remain in the scalp, they are usually not disturbing.

EYEBROW LIFT (Eyebrow Aesthetics)

Eyebrows are one of the most important aesthetic points on the face. The posture of the eyebrows gives us angry, tired or bored expressions. A low eyebrow will also make us look older if there is also a slight lower eyelid. There are several methods to ensure that the eyebrows stay in their proper locations.

  • Eyebrow removal and permanent make-up application
  • Botulinium toxin application
  • Eyebrow suspension
  • Eyebrow lifting operation

Eyebrow Removal and Permanent Makeup Application

The eyebrows can be lifted slightly by proper removal. They also can be shaped with permanent make-up. However, since it is permanent, as the name implies, it should be considered thoroughly and then a decision should be made.

Eyebrow Suspension

It can be performed under local anesthesia and in a short time. It is the process of hanging eyebrows from 2-3 mm incisions with the help of needles and permanent sutures. This hanging process is carried out by using special medical sutures to keep eyebrows up for 2-3 years. You can return to work on the same day. It is a quick and preferred method.

Eyebrow Lifting Operation

Generally, it is performed in the same session with a face lift operation. Eyebrows are taken upwards with incisions made through the scalp. When applied by endoscopy, the incision will be smaller and the healing process will be shorter.

EYELID AESTHETICS (Blepharoplasty)

As you age, sagging and bagging of the upper and lower eyelids may occur due to gravity. This makes the person appear older and more tired. This surgery is usually done at the age of 30-40. The upper eyelid operation can be performed singularly, or the upper and lower eyelid can be operated together. It can also be combined with face lift, forehead lift or eyebrow suspension operations. It can be performed under local anesthesia or sedation. Excess skin and connective tissue are removed, connective and muscle tissue are repaired. In the upper lid surgery, the scar coincides with the fold area in the upper lid. In lower eyelid surgeries, the scar is just below the eyelash edge. If there is no excess skin, correction can be done by entering through the eyelid. The eye area is one of the best healing areas of the body. There may be some swelling and bruising after the operation.

It is the process of transferring the fat harvested from the body parts where the fat deposition is intense, such as abdomen or thighs, to the required areas after being subjected to special processes. It can be performed under local anesthesia if the transfer will be applied in small amounts and if it is to be taken from a single area. If it is necessary to take larger amounts of fat from more than one area, it is more appropriate to apply sedation or general anesthesia. Since approximately 50% of the given amount will melt, transferring more and intermittently repeating the procedure will provide better results. Areas of application:

  • Facial Area

It is used to re-inflate regions of the face (such as cheeks and cheekbones) which has lost volume due to aging (or trauma). It is also beneficial for thickening lips and removing fine lines on lips. It is also suitable for enhancing facial features, like clarifying the chin tip, correcting permanent wrinkles between the two eyebrows or on the lip.

  • Breast Augmentation

Where the breasts are smaller than normal, fat is injected as an alternative to breast augmentation with conventional silicone prostheses.

  • Hip Aesthetics

Some people may have structural abnormalities on their hips. These can be corrected by fat injection in order to improve the volume and refine roundness and contour leading to a more aesthetic appearance of the hips.

  • Leg Aesthetics

In some people, the legs may be thin, which may make it appear like a bowleg. This appearance can be corrected by fat injection.

  • Ankles

Some people may have very thin ankles, and they can be adjusted to other parts of the leg through fat injection.

  • Genital Aesthetics

Sometimes the upper part of the clitoris or large lips may lose volume. In such cases, it can be removed by fat injection.

Ears are very important for the aesthetic appearance of the face. The presence of prominent ears is a problem, especially for young people. Since ear development is completed at the age of 5-6 years, ear surgery can be performed before primary education. For children, it can be performed under general anesthesia, and local anesthesia may be preferred for young people. An incision is made behind the ear, the cartilage is shaped. The ear is brought closer to the head with special yarns, thus ensuring that it retains its shape. The scars will remain behind the ear and will not appear. The patient can go home the same day. The patient is checked at 2-3 day intervals. One week later the sutures are removed. It is recommended that a headband should be worn for another week after the stitches have been removed.

The nose is the organ that affects the face aesthetics the most. Rhinoplasty is the operation of reshaping the nose. If there are functional problems, they can also be corrected in the same operation. The best time for aesthetic nose operations is 17 years of age and later. The applicant must have realistic wishes. The patient should decide after talking to his doctor about his expectations. Aesthetic nose surgery does not mean just removing the bone and cartilage tissues of the nose and making it smaller. It means reshaping the nose. Cartilage or bone additions may also be required. It is important that the new shape of the nose corresponds to the shape of the person's face. The operation is performed under general anesthesia. Open or closed surgery can be applied. The technique is decided according to the condition of the nose structure to be corrected. The operation usually takes 2-2.5 hours. After the operation, the nasal packings (tampons) are placed into the nose, and there will be a cast on it. Packings are removed in 1-3 days and cast in 7-10 days. After the operation, there may be swelling and bruising on the face, especially under the eyes. It will recover in 1 week. After the operation, the nose regains its new form after 6 months. The patient should refrain from heavy exercises and should be protected from the sun for 2 months. Glasses also should not be worn in this period.

Male pattern hair loss is very common in our society. Since hair is a very important part of beauty, hair loss in women causes serious problems. Women may also experience male pattern hair loss or it may be due to hormone disorders, aging, burns, etc. trauma or diseases. Hair transplantation is the only option in some patients. There are three methods of hair transplantation: FUE, FUT, and DHI. In the FUE method, hair grafts are taken from the side and back of the scalp in the form of follicular units. No scars and incisions. The grafts are placed in the openings in the areas where hair transplantation will be performed. In the FUT method, a long ellipse-shaped scalp is removed from the neck. Small hair grafts are obtained from this region. The area taken from the skin is sewn. There will be a surgical scar. The grafts are placed in the areas where the hair will be transplanted. FUT technique is not preferred today. In the DHI method, for the hair roots / grafts taken from the donor area, no punctures are made in the areas where the hair will be transplanted and the hair roots are directly planted with special tips. All three methods are performed under local anesthesia. After completion of the procedure, the patient goes home and does not wash his hair for 24 hours. Then he starts to wash with special solutions. The transplanted hair is shed after a while. It reappears after 2.5-3 months. Depending on the size of the area requiring planting, hair transplantation can be repeated.

Various moles, masses (lipomas, cysts, etc.) and tumors that are thought to be malignant can be removed under local anesthesia. The removal can also be done by laser. If necessary, it is sent to pathology for examination.
